- State phyto-sanitary certificate required. Inspected and found apparently free of insects and diseases.
- Soil is prohibited, plants can be sent bare-root or soilless growing media.
- Treated for Fire Ants if plants are in growing media. Treatment is exempt if bare-root.
- Notify the HI Dept of Agriculture / Plant Industry Division of arrival. Fax copy of phyto to 808-832-0584.
- Shipment box must be marked "Plant Material".
- HI Dept of Agriculture must inspect and release shipment.
