Chinese Rug Holly with it's spiky foliage is commonly planted under windows to deter home invasion. These plants make a great deterrent and should be handled with heavy gloves. Attractive, low mounding plants that are easily shaped with a pair of long handled pruning shears. They are extremely tough, durable plants that are drought tolerant and require very little care other than occasional pruning and shaping if desired.
