Bamboo Plantation Garden Center

This is a genus of small to medium sized bamboos from the mountains of central China. The culm walls are thick, nearly solid near the base. The rhizomes on this bamboo are amphipodial - exhibiting the charteristics of both sympodial and monopodial bamboos. This bamboo genus is closely related to Chimnobambusa.
