This species has much longer and narrower leaves than other Shibataeas. Very attractive shaped bamboo that makes a great shrub. Originally this bamboo had green leaves with striations in the leaves, but it seems to have reverted back to a green form. However it is still much lighter in color and the other Shibataeas, a more golden yellow color with thinner leaves than the other more dark green leafed forms. |
