The culm nodes are very prominent. Shoots are excellent and the wood is very hard. Culms are used as shrimp traps, sheds and fencing. This is a very fast growing aggressive bamboo. It is not suitable for small areas and needs a lot of space. With adequate space it is very suitable for shoot and wood production. |
