Tight clumping that arches. Thin walled culms used for weaving. B. textilis is one of the most popular clumping bamboos that we sell outside of B. multiplex. It is a stunning large growing subtropical bamboo that will do well in Hardiness Zone 8/8b with protection.

New culms are covered with a whitish bloom on a dark green background giving them a bluish coloration. It has large dark green leaves and makes a stunning companion planting with a B. multiplex hedge.
